Khalil has a Master of Science (M.Sc) in International Business and also a B.Sc in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, United Kingdom respectively. He is a member of the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum (Kano Hub), and also a member of the Kano, Lagos, and Abuja Polo Clubs, and the Kano Golf Club.
